The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has approved aspartame after an extensive study. Aspartame is calorie-free Appreciated by many diabetics as it does not affect blood sugar. Aspartame is composed of two amino acids, aspartic acid and phenylalanine, which are important building blocks for many proteins found naturally in protein-rich foods such as eggs, meat and nuts. When aspartame is broken down in the body, it is converted into aspartic acid, phenylalanine and methanol.

We use Steviol glycosides from Stevia, Aspartame and Acesulfame K, all of which are low-calorie sweeteners that are 200 times (steviol glycosides up to 300 times) sweeter than regular sugar. People who are allergic to milk cannot eat ProPud because it is milk-based.

ProPud milkshakes, mousses and puddings are gluten-free but ProPud bars may contain gluten or traces of gluten depending on the bar. Always read the list of ingredients before consumption.

An opened ProPud product can be stored in the refrigerator for a few days. Once the product is opened, there is a risk of bacteria entering and should therefore be stored sealed in the refrigerator.
